A long keeping black-skinned, pungent, white fleshed, Winter radish that reaches the size of a swede and holds from April to August. Peel skin and grate the radish into salads – SUPERB. Cultivation; Rake in mushroom compost to retain moisture, and spread a 2cm layer on surface. Sow individual seeds 2cm apart, 5 mm deep in furrows. Sow in Autumn. Water every 2nd day. Top dress with organic fertiliser.
