Kuroda

Fine selection of very sweet, bright orange Japanese carrot about 20cm long and 5cm across. Excellent in stir fries or eaten raw. Great for heavy soil types. Cultivation: Carrots need deep, well drained soils, organic compost can be added to the top layer of soil and dug in preferably in Autumn. Carrots will fork in high nitrogen. Do not over fertilize. Sow mid Nov- mid Feb. Sow in 1cm dills. Keep moist.
