Marathon f1 Broccoli

An excellent variety trialled in cool areas for mid-late season. Large, fine heads, blue-green in colour. Soft texture and rich aroma, remains fresh well, good cold tolerance. Sow: Can sow early Spring but performs better if sown late Summer/early Autumn.. Side shoots plentiful. Sow 4 seeds in a hole 1 cm deep, 60 cm apart, with 60 cm between rows. Gradually thin each cluster to the best plant. Side dress with complete organic fertiliser.
