All our seeds will be sent via Australia Post. We go to the post office daily at 5pm and try to get all orders done within 2 business days. However being a small business sometimes, we get caught up with big garden tasks at certain times of the year and there may be slight delays. Early spring sales can cause a bit of a backlog, but we will put a banner in the shop if posting delays exceed 3 days.
We offer 3 posting options. Express for fast deliveries, standard post with tracking and untracked using stamps at the letter rate. This is suitable for up to 6 packets of chunky seeds and 8-10 fine/smaller seeds. With larger orders expected to be more than 20mm thick, we ask that you select the standard postage option Customers may also choose the tracking option for peace of mind in knowing how far away their parcel is.
Currently we send parcels via the Auspost website, and they send out an email with tracking. We are working on a new shipping system where everything is done on the website, and you can log in any time to see the tracking on your parcel. Hopefully this will be finished shortly
We don’t send to WA or overseas due to quarantine and biosecurity risks.
Dishonesty – Please note: due to an increase in people attempting to bypass our shipping blocks on WA by putting Tas as their home state in the address field, we will cancel your order and keep a $2 handling fee for time wasting. By time we have gone to send your order, we have spent time getting the order ready only to find our shipping system has flagged your address as wrong. We will not risk our reputation by breaking biosecurity laws. This also applies to people trying to get cheaper shipping by putting in TAS as their address – clever, it took me a while to figure out what people were doing. Our system flags any address errors once the order comes through. You will either be contacted, or order cancelled as its now happening too often to be a little mistake. I am very fair but it’s a matter of principal.
